You can be part of it…

…by joining me on every event or just one, the choice is yours. Of course if you would like to take part in the marathons then you will need to sign up as an individual. Unfortunately the London Marathon is now closed for entries, however you may still be able to get a charity place, if you haven’t got a place already. Please check out the links below on how to enter the Edinburgh and London marathons.

I am specifically looking for people to join me on the Blackpool to Skegness 175 mile cycle ride and also the 3 Peaks Challenge. I have initially 10 places on each, so if you would like to enter one of these events please get in touch to secure your place.

Here’s a little more about these events

Blackpool to Skegness Cycle Ride

This will take place on the weekend of Saturday 30th April & Sunday 1st May 2011 and is a full on endurance cycling event. We will make our way to Blackpool on Friday 29th staying in a B&B that night. The following morning we will be aiming to start out about 6am for the first leg of the journey. The actual route has yet to be finalised but we will be doing approximately 85 miles each day for the 2 days. We will take in a B&B again on the Saturday night at around the half way point and set off again around 6am on Sunday, with an estimated time of arrival in Skegness of 4pm. Further information will be added as we get the confirmed details.

Entry Requirements:

Raise a minimum of £225 for the charities / Pay your own accommodation costs / Have your own bike and kit / Be reasonably fit

3 Peaks Challenge

This will take place on the weekend of Saturday 25th & Sunday 26th June 2011. The event involves climbing the 3 highest peaks in the UK. Starting out at the base of Ben Nevis in Scotland, the team will attempt to ascend and descend in approximately 6 hours. A 6 hour drive to the base of Scafel Pike in the Lake District followed by a 5 hour ascent and descent. The final driving leg of the challenge will take 4 hours to the base of Snowdon followed by a 4 hour ‘summit to base’ walk. We are aiming to do it within 24 hours, although our main aim is for the whole team to complete the challenge.

Entry Requirements:

Raise a minimum of £225 for the charities / Pay for your own food and accommodation / Have your own kit (details of kit required will be given) / Be reasonably fit (certainly consider training for this one)

Please contact us to enter either of these events or leave a reply below and we will get back to you.
